Turn a YouTube video into social posts
Paste a public YouTube link. This reads the video page and writes three posts from it, one each for LinkedIn, X and Instagram. Free, no signup, and it will tell you when a video has too little to work from rather than inventing detail about it.

No signup. Paste a public link and it reads the page, then writes from what is actually on it.
One video is not one post
A video you spent hours on gets one link post and then disappears. The same video usually holds a LinkedIn argument, a sharp line for X, and a visual hook for Instagram, and those three reach three different audiences on three different days. That is the whole case for repurposing, and it is why the output here is shaped per network rather than one caption pasted three times.
The tool reads the video page before writing, so the posts refer to what the video is actually about. A video with a one-line description gives it little to work with, and it will say so rather than pad the gap with something invented.
Frequently asked questions
How do I turn a YouTube video into social media posts?
Paste the video URL. The tool reads the video page for its title, description and channel, then writes three posts from it: one for LinkedIn, one for X, and one Instagram caption, each leading on a different angle. Copy whichever fits. No account needed.
Is the YouTube repurposing tool free?
Yes, with no signup. Because every run calls a language model, this page is capped at a handful of runs per day per visitor. The workspace has a free forever plan with a much higher allowance, and it schedules and publishes the posts as well as writing them.
Does it use the video transcript?
No, it does not read the transcript. It works from what the video page exposes: title, description and channel. Videos with a thin description give it less to work with, and it will say so rather than invent detail about a video it could not read.
Can I use it for private or unlisted videos?
No. The tool can only read pages that are publicly reachable, the same as any visitor without your login. Unlisted and private videos will fail rather than partially work.
What is the difference between this and the workspace?
This page runs the first step once, by hand; the workspace runs the whole thing on a schedule. In the workspace the same engine runs against your whole channel, writes in your brand voice, routes drafts for approval, and publishes to every network.
What this can actually read from a YouTube video
We fetch at most 5 MB of the page and read the first 5,000 characters of it. Those two numbers are the whole shape of the output: a long piece is repurposed from its opening rather than its full length, which is usually where the argument is anyway, and a very long one is not silently summarised from the middle.
What we read is what the video page exposes: title, description and channel. It does not read the transcript and does not watch the video, so an upload with a two-line description gives it two lines to work from, and it says so rather than inventing detail about footage it never saw.
Doing this for every upload gets old
In the workspace the same engine runs against your whole channel on a schedule: it repurposes, writes in your brand voice, routes for approval, and publishes to every network. This page is one run of the first step.
